Jackie Skinner is a silly fetted moppet based in Los Angeles. You can catch her performing her material at venues all over LA, including at The Lyric Hyperion, The Elysian, and (RIP) PDA Space in Altadena. She created Clown Storm, a bi-weekly work-in-progress night for LA clowns, while she works on her own goddang stuff. The dream is to find brand-spankin new ways to make an audience feel something. She dislikes predictable performances.

In addition to working with Allison, she’s taken her solo clown show “Beautiful Night” to Edinburgh Fringe (as mentioned in the LA Times) and is brewing up a new project.

As an ex-NYC character comedian, Jackie performed in NYC at the Magnet Theater every Wednesday night with her improv team Behemoth and every Friday night with her weekend sketch team: The Executives. She’s performed her solo character show, Lies We Tell Ourselves, at UCB Hell’s Kitchen, PIT Solocom, Improv Boston, Chicago Sketchfest, and Austin Sketchfest. She has been studying improv since Fall 2014 at the Hideout and Institution theaters in Austin, Second City in Chicago, and Magnet in NYC. Having also studied sketch comedy at Second City, she has written and performed sketch at NYC's UCB, Magnet, PIT, BCC, and Reckless theaters.

In addition to clown and un-labeled, comedic performances, Jackie can be seen standing-up doing comedy around LA. She's performed shows and festivals all over the US, including the Boston Comedy Arts Festival, iO Chicago’s Comedy Festival, Seattle’s Highlarious Comedy Festival, Indianapolis Comedy Festival, and Funniest Person in Austin.

Originally from the east side of Los Angeles and now a New Yorker, I perform in sketch comedy, theater, and on-camera projects in and around NYC and LA. My first solo show, Holy Guacamole!, premiered at PIT’s 10th annual SOLOCOM NYC, and my duo character-comedy show, Jackie & Allison Into the Multiverse, was an official selection at Austin Sketch Fest 2024, SketchFest Seattle 2024, NYC Sketch Fest 2024, Big Gator Comedy Festival 2024, Toronto Sketch Fest 2025, DC Sketch Fest 2025, NYC Fringe 2025, and Boston Fringe 2025!

I have performed and trained at Upright Citizens Brigade NY, Brooklyn Comedy Collective, The Second City Brooklyn Magnet Theater, People’s Improv Theater, and Elysian Theater LA. After graduating from UC Berkeley in Film and Music, I worked in film publicity (NEON) and production (Netflix, A24), but ultimately fell in love with acting and comedy. I am an alumna of Atlantic Acting School’s full-time conservatory program and I love laughing!
